Check out this great review of the Mitsubishi Lancer, by the Times Free Press:
Lancer ES - timesfreepress.com 8/17/2013
"The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is legendary in the high-performance world as one of the hottest pocket rockets on theplanet. People forget that the basic Lancer compact sedan is worth a look, too. It's an especially nice car for those on a budget who would love to own a strand or two of the Lancer Evo's DNA, but who need only about half its eye-popping 291 horsepower."
"The Lancer's chiseled sheet metal is among the more attractive in the compact class. Its shark-like fascia gives the car a bit of menace, which should appeal to masculine tastes. Meanwhile, the body bristles with ground-effects."
"The aerodynamic body includes a high belt-line and a generous roof-line which results in a bright and airy cabin."
"Inside, the cabin is a model of clean design. Our ES Lancer wasn't burdened with a ton of doodads. It's comforting to climb into a car where all the dash functions are self-evident and you don't have to reserve a half day to study the owner's manual just to operate the radio."
"The patterned cloth seats are firm and supportive. Rear seat head-room is especially generous for those who car-pool with taller passengers."
"With a chassis designed to withstand the athleticism of the Evolution model, the Lancer ES is solidly planted and inspires confidence."
"On our short test drive on Corridor J, the Lancer settled into traffic and strikes me as a comfortable commuter car."
"If your compact car must-haves list includes a roomy cabin, sharp looks and a decade-long warranty, the Lancer is certainly be a vehicle you'll want to test drive."

2014 Mirage Pricing
2014 Mirage Pricing Revealed
MMNA has announced that the all-new 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage 5-door sub-compact – the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid gasoline-powered vehicle available in America with an EPA rated fuel economy of 44 mpg highway (CVT-equipped models) – will have a starting MSRP of only $12,995.
Major contributors to the new Mirage’s outstanding fuel efficiency are its exceptionally clean exterior with its very low 0.28 drag coefficient, an engine equipped with the latest version of Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control (MIVEC) variable valve-timing system, and Electric Power Steering (EPS) that does away with fuel-burning parasitic drag on the engine from a conventional hydraulic-based power steering.
Featuring a plethora of welcome standard amenities, the $12,995 MSRP starting price for the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage DE model includes automatic climate control, keyless entry with panic alarm, sporty-looking rear spoiler, upscale piano black center console trim, auto-off halogen headlights, rear heater floor ducts, plus much more.
For only $1,200 more, the 2014 Mirage ES model includes all of the standard features from the DE trim level while adding FAST (Free-hand Advanced Security Transmitter)-key passive entry, One-Touch Start/Stop (OSS) engine switch, Bluetooth© hands-free phone system, steering wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, 14-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, fog lamps, silver interior accent trim, and other features. What’s more, an available Navigation Package adds helpful features including a SD card-based navigation system and rear view camera system.

Review for the 2014 Outlander by wildsau.ca
Yet another positive review for the redesigned 2014 Outlander, by wildsau.ca, on 06/14/2013, at the Mitsubishi Motors Canada Press Event:
"I was in a 4-cylinder Outlander with a CVT transmission. It puts out 166 horsepower at 6000 RPM and 162 lb.ft of torque at 4200 RPM. It held its own, even on the uphills. The engine gets a touch coarse in the higher revs, but it rarely needed to soar to those RPMs. It was only on the steepest climbs that the engine felt like it was working hard. The ride was very smooth and controlled and the handling is quite good for a three-row SUV."
"We ascended to where the road ends. You simply can’t drive any further up the mountain, and very few dare to get this far. The Outlander (still the 4-cylinder CVT one) performed like a champ. It never felt out of breath, and had plenty of torque to make the climb. It soaked up the big hits as gracefully as the little ones."
"I never questioned that the Outlander was in complete control. Power always seemed to be sent to where it was needed, and though it was uncomfortable because of the terrible road, I was impressed that I never heard a single rattle or squeak from the cabin which was being tossed about the entire way up. And down."

Another positive review for the 2014 Outlander!
Examiner.com review of the 2014 Outlander from the Mitsubishi Motors Canada Press Event on 06/14/2013:
"The cockpit has gone upscale, with a more driver-centric layout for the key controls with a Piano Black surround."
"The cockpit has gone upscale, with a more driver-centric layout for the key controls with a Piano Black surround."
Unique appliques look as though carbon fiber and brushed aluminum loved each other very much and had a baby (it’s a Canadian exclusive, with U.S. models getting wood from the Icky tree).
"If it’s passing power you need, the V6 is your choice. Paddle shifters work well and are always ‘On’ when requested, which can be easily reverted back to simple Drive."
"While most of the competition has ditched the V6, it’s nice to know that the six-pot Outlander has your back, especially if you’re towing something back there, with up to 3,500 pounds towing capacity (1,500 pounds for four cylinder models)."
"The rack-and-pinion is electrified for steering assist, with a weight and feel that mimics conventional hydraulics. Rear-ward vision is excellent, even with second-row headrests in place. The four cylinder/CVT fitment had a surprising amount of pull during ever-changing elevation."
"Outlander may not be the least expensive ’ute in the segment, though you get what you pay for. Cabin NVH levels are whisper-good, plus the last thing you’ll feel in the most basic of trims is cheap. Heated front seats, exterior mirrors, plus Bluetooth connectivity, auto climate and standard alloy wheels, just to name a few."

The 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport: One of the Safest Small SUVs for You and Your Family
The 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has recently been named
a 2013 “Top Safety Pick+” award winner by the Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety, or IIHS. This designation is the IIHS’s highest award for vehicles that
offer superior crash protection, and we are proud that the Outlander Sport was
one of only two vehicles, of the thirteen tested, to receive this prestigious
award. The Outlander Sport’s “Top Safety Pick +” rating can be attributed to a
number of advanced high-tech design features.
One particular key
safety design feature is the Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution, also known as
RISE. RISE is Mitsubishi Motor’s very own patented safety body construction
system, which is incorporated into every Mitsubishi vehicle. This system
features integrated, energy-absorbing crumpled zones, and engineered
reinforcements, that are placed within the body and chassis. They provide
maximum protection to the vehicle’s occupants in the event of an impact, by
absorbing and disbursing a great deal of energy from the cabin.
Another of the Outlander Sports features that contributes to
its overall outstanding safety is Mitsubishi’s seven-airbag system,
which includes dual advanced front airbags, front side-impact airbags,
side-impact air curtains and a driver's knee airbag. The driver's knee airbag
is a recent innovation, which helps reduce the risk of injury by stabilizing
the legs and lower body of the driver during certain types of impacts. It's
quite advanced, and only one of the seven airbags that make up this
sophisticated safety system.
Yet another standard safety feature of the 2013 Outback Sport
is Active Stability Control, or ASC. ACS uses
a series of sensors that constantly monitor tire grip on the road. If the
wheels begin to slip, the ASC system works along with the Anti-Lock Braking
System to apply the brakes intelligently, as needed to each wheel, giving you
the ultimate sense of control.
Mitsubishi's electrically controlled All-Wheel Control
system, or AWC, engages an onboard computer that monitors throttle, vehicle
speed and road condition. The AWC makes split-second adjustments to help
maximize control in any weather.
The 2013 Outlander Sport employs an advanced anti-lock braking system, or ABS, with a brake
override feature. The ABS helps
eliminate wheel lock-up by monitoring the speed of each individual wheel, then
adjusting the braking pressure as needed. When impending lock-up is sensed, the
ABS sends rapid brake pulses to the wheels in need, dramatically reducing the
chance of a skid on any terrain.
The Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children, also known as the
LATCH system, simplifies the attachment of child safety seats, making it easier
for you to help keep your child or grandchild safe.
Every Mitsubishi is equipped with three-point seat belts and
head restraints, along with front seat belt pretensioners. These pretensioners are
designed to help tighten the belts in certain frontal impacts and rollovers, so
the seat belts can do their job even better. Seat belt force limiters, which
help the front seat belts and airbags work together optimally, are also
standard on every 2013 Outlander Sport.
With all of these outstanding safety features, it is easy to
see why the 2013 Outlander Sport would be the perfect small SUV for you and
your family.
